This is nothing more than a “Bait & Switch” tactic by Microsoft Store. I received the message from Netbooks.com about this “great deal” at 9:10 a.m. and quickly logged over to the website to place an order. As I read all the details and decide to order a black model and prepare to checkout at 9:17 a.m., the price gets bumped up to $349 with the following message from Microsoft: “There was a discount for this item, but it has been used the maximum number of times. You can now purchase more at the regular price.” Screw that. No deal. Microsoft can keep their $87.25 difference; I’ll shop around elsewhere.
I tried to order online and received the same message. I then called Microsoft by phone and got the black one for $261.75. You might want to try that. I didn’t mention that I saw the deal online, I just placed the order.
They need to make a model that burns cds
why does it not have a built in web cam
Stop advertising this netbook at this price, Microsoft store will not honor it!
