Charles Ewald

Charles is the founder and manager of Argus Capital LLC, a San Francisco-based private equity firm focused on early-stage technology investing. His notable portfolio investments include athenahealth, Axiom Legal, CNET Networks, Digital Impact, DivX, eMode/Tickle, and Intermix/MySpace . He was formerly a senior investment banker at Goldman, Sachs & Co., co-head of the West Coast operations of JP Morgan Capital, and a Managing Director at Terra Firma Capital Partners.

Jeffrey S. Hussey

Jeffrey co-founded F5 Networks in February 1996 and served as an executive and Director from when the company was founded through 2002. During his tenure, he guided F5 from startup to its position as the dominant vendor of network application optimization solutions. From 1996 through 2002, he served as Chairman of the Board, and from 1996 to 2000, as Chief Executive Officer and President. Prior to F5 Networks, Jeffrey was Vice President of investment-banking firm Alexander Hutton Capital. He also served as President of Pacific Comlink, an inter-exchange carrier providing frame relay and Internet access services to the Pacific Rim , which he founded in 1993.

David Carlick

David is widely recognized as a thought leader for online media and marketing. David led the creation of Poppe Tyson's interactive marketing group, an online marketing pioneer. At Poppe Tyson, he was also an early co-founder of DoubleClick (NASDAQ: DCLK). In addition, he was founding Director of International Network Services and I/Pro. He also served as Director of Big Book and Ask Jeeves (NASDAQ: ASKJ). He has been a venture investor in online marketing companies since the mid-1990s, and was Chairman of Intermix Media, parent of MySpace.com, through its acquisition by News Corp in 2005.

Mark Goines

Mark has more than 25 years of experience in senior management positions at leading financial and technology companies. Most notably, he was instrumental in the development and management of the world's best-selling personal finance and tax preparation software products, Intuit's Quicken and TurboTax. Previously, he served as vice president of new product development at Charles Schwab & Co. with a focus in online products.

Jim Hornthal

Jim was the founder of Preview Travel, one of the first online travel companies, which went public in November 1997 (NASDAQ: PTVL) and merged with a division of Sabre Holdings, forming new publicly traded company Travelocity.com (NASDAQ: TVLY). Jim is also the Lester Center Fellow for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, where he works as an advisor, lecturer, and judge for the annual Business Plan competition. Jim joined CMEA Ventures in January 2006 as Venture Partner to focus on investments the areas of Digital Media and the Internet. Jim has a wealth of knowledge and experience in early stage private equity investing and advising venture capital and hedge funds in the areas of high technology, biotechnology, and consumer services.

Glen Kacher – Integral Capital

Prior to joining Integral Capital, Glen spent four years with Tiger Management as a research analyst and consultant where he focused on investments in the hardware, software, and networking industries. While Glen was at Tiger, the company experienced rapid growth in assets under management, beginning at $3.5 billion and growing to over $12 billion. Glen also worked in the marketing department at Calico Commerce, one of Integral's portfolio companies. Glen joined Integral as a partner in January 1998, where he researches companies operating in the Internet, software, and computer services markets.

Ed Kozel

Edward is CEO of Skyrider, a technology startup focused on peer-to-peer search, and also serves on the boards of Yahoo! Inc., Reuters PLC and Network Appliance. As an early employee at Cisco Systems, he helped to grow the company into a multinational technology leader as its CTO and Senior Vice President of Business Development. He is an industry innovator who previously worked at Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, and SRI International, where he participated in the early design and development of the Internetwork Protocol (IP) model and TCP/IP, packet radio networks and highly distributed information systems.

Alan D. Mutter

Alan is the former chief executive of three successive Silicon Valley companies. Earlier in his career worked as a journalist and then headed one of the nation's largest cable television companies. After starting as a writer and columnist at the Chicago Daily News, Alan eventually became City Editor of the Chicago Sun-Times. In 1984, he became the No. 2 editor of the San Francisco Chronicle. He left the newspaper business in 1988 to join InterMedia Partners, a start-up company that within five years became a major US cable-TV company. Alan was the COO of InterMedia when he moved to Silicon Valley in 1996 to lead the first of the three start-up companies he managed as CEO: a pioneering Internet service provider followed by two enterprise software companies.

David Yancey

David is a successful entrepreneur who directs real estate and mortgage acquisitions and property management at mortgage banking firm Crown Capital. David practiced law for the San Francisco firm of Brobeck, Phleger and Harrison, has taught for the Mortgage Bankers Association of America School of Mortgage Banking, and is a published author on issues relating to real estate and finance. Mr. Yancey earned his bachelor’s degree from Stanford University in 1970 and his Juris Doctor from Stanford in 1974. During law school David was a member of the Stanford Law Review and served as a clerk for the California Supreme Court.
