Switching to NetBooks
Using NetBooks is easy. Transitioning to NetBooks requires a little planning. The good news is that we’ve mapped out the whole process, and we assign every new customer a concierge to make sure it all goes smoothly.
Setting up NetBooks to support your specific business is a highly personalized process, so we are very careful about the rate at which we add customers. The typical startup period is two days to two weeks, depending on the state of your data, which provides the opportunity to get everyone in your company trained in NetBooks. With this approach, you can be productive on the day you switch over.
We have developed sophisticated tools for importing your data and transaction history, so there is no need to switch at the end of a reporting period or even the end of a week.
The typical switching process looks like this:
The week before switching
- You identify who you want to use NetBooks, and the permissions they should have
- You and your users take a complete online training course
- You identify the customer data in your business that you want to import
The day before switching
- You upload your QuickBooks or other accounting file
- You upload your customer data as .CSV file, if you keep this separately
The night before switching
- The NetBooks support team verifies your data import while you sleep
The day of switching
- You verify your data and provide final sign-off
- Your whole company is using NetBooks!
